Derek doesn't know why he's surprised to be on Stiles' speed dial, though he feels justified in his surprise at being number two. If he'd considered he'd have expected to be... he's not actually sure, now that he does think about it. Certainly behind Scott as well as the Sheriff. Maybe Lydia and Allison as well, though he has to admit he's not sure if Stiles has had much to do with either of ty hem lately.
